Who are you? Describe yourself in a few words.

We have been a couple in life for over 10 years, we complete one another and have fun together! Our initial studies were in accounting and literature, but after deciding to follow our purpose in life, we studied photography and event management respectively. One likes summer and beer, the other one winter and coffee; one is an introvert artist, and the other one is an extrovert multitasker (you'll immediately guess who is who once you meet us!) We both love traveling, art in all its forms, books, good food, and music. Octograph is our common way to express our creativity.

Do you believe in destiny?

50 - 50: 50% destiny and 50% luck, encounters, opportunities given/taken, effort, and work work work. All of these have led us to the point we are today.

What inspires you daily?

We get inspired by our travels, cinema, songs, photography books, and some talented contemporary photographers & artists.

When was the first time that you remember realizing that you are a creative person?

In kindergarten! We were both creative kids, enjoying anything that had to do with art (painting, drawing, music, dancing, theater...). We're trying to maintain this joy of being creative as adults, too!

Does your work convey a specific emotion or message?

Our work is all about emotions, capturing and provoking them. We want to deliver photos that tell each couple's story through our eyes.

After these years of working on your craft, do you still feel the joy of doing what you do?

Definitely! Every couple is unique and we always approach each wedding as if it was our very first one. The joy of meeting new people and the excitement of what we do are getting stronger by the year!

Is there a particular place where you feel most creative?

In nature. A beautiful view, clean air, the sound of the sea always help us clear our minds and think out of the box.

Do your work and approach have changed?

We believe this is an ever-changing process, to redefine your art and yourself over the years. Having a particular aesthetic is one thing, and a perspective in life is totally another thing. Photography helps us constantly redefine our perspective and aesthetics through observation.

Is it difficult to maintain your level of knowledge? What do you do to improve it?

Things are changing super fast in photography and it's truly challenging to keep up with new gear, new software, new trends, etc. We read a lot, attend international workshops & photography festivals, we spend hours in front of a screen to learn new programs that will make our lives and our clients' easier. The moment we'll stop learning will be the moment we'll stop caring.
