Absolutely yes! Creativity thrives when you infuse your heart and soul into your work. When you pour your passion and emotions into what you create, it adds depth, authenticity, and a unique touch that can't be replicated. Embracing this approach not only enhances the quality of your work but also allows you to express yourself fully and connect with others on a deeper level.

What in your personal life has influenced you to choose your career?

Our journey as wedding photographers has been deeply influenced by our background in the fashion industry and our experience working together in advertising agencies. These formative years have ingrained in us a unique approach that seamlessly blends elements of fashion, lifestyle, and cinematic flair into our work. Our style, characterized by its use of light, color, and composition, is a direct reflection of our passion for cinema and its profound impact on our creative vision.

If you had the chance to live during a different artistic movement other than now, which one would you choose?

We would undoubtedly relish the opportunity to live during the Roaring Twenties. This era, characterized by its exuberant creativity, innovation and cultural dynamism, aligns perfectly with our artistic sensibilities. The 1920s witnessed the rise of various artistic movements such as Art Deco, Surrealism, and the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema. These movements not only reshaped the artistic landscape but also laid the groundwork for modern visual storytelling techniques that continue to influence us today. As wedding photographers, we would have thrived in the vibrancy of the 1920s, drawing inspiration from the glamour of the Jazz Age, the bold experimentation of Surrealist artists, and the captivating allure of silent films. Immersed in this era, we would have delighted in capturing the essence of the time through our lens, infusing weddings with the spirit of the Twenties, and immortalizing moments in a style reminiscent of the golden era of cinema.

What inspires you on a daily basis?

On a daily basis, we find inspiration in the diverse and dynamic works of modern photographers such as Alec Soth, Man Ray, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Saul Leiter, Ralph Gibson, Walker Evans, and Wim Wenders. Each of these artists brings a unique perspective and approach to photography, enriching our creative process and expanding our visual language. From Alec Soth's intimate portrayals of American life to Man Ray's avant-garde experimentation with surrealism, we draw inspiration from the breadth of styles and techniques employed by these masters. Alessandra Sanguinetti's documentary storytelling, Saul Leiter's painterly compositions, Ralph Gibson's minimalist aesthetics, Walker Evans' poignant social commentary, and Wim Wenders' cinematic narratives all contribute to our ever-evolving artistic vision. Furthermore, our inspiration extends beyond the realm of photography to encompass the rich tapestry of cultures and experiences we encounter through our travels around the world. What made you decide to follow a creative career choice (though possibly risky) rather than something more stable?

Our decision to pursue a creative career as wedding photographers, despite its inherent risks, was driven by a profound desire for fulfillment and authenticity in our lives. From the very first opportunity to break free from the conventional constraints, we knew we wanted to carve out a path that aligned with our passions and brought us genuine happiness. For us, happiness isn't just a fleeting emotion, it's a guiding principle that shapes every aspect of our lives. That's why we made the bold choice to risk everything and pursue a career that allows us to travel the world, immerse ourselves in different cultures, and be surrounded by the joy of celebrating love through our photography. Our approach to photography is rooted in this commitment to joy. We believe that by choosing joy in our own lives, we're better equipped to capture and preserve the moments of happiness and love that define weddings. It's a symbiotic relationship where our passion for photography fuels our happiness, and in turn, our happiness enhances the authenticity and beauty of our work. Being wedding photographers not only allows us the freedom to pursue our creative passions but also brings us to incredible destinations worldwide, where we have the privilege of documenting the love stories of couples from diverse backgrounds. Have you always wanted to do what you are doing?

Becoming wedding photographers wasn't initially a lifelong dream for us. In fact, we didn't even consider it until we stumbled upon the opportunity quite unexpectedly. It all began with a simple request from a close friend to capture their wedding day through our lenses. Prior to that moment, we hadn't fully grasped the potential and the myriad of opportunities that being wedding photographers could offer. It was only after experiencing the magic of documenting that first wedding, witnessing the profound emotions, and immortalizing the beautiful moments, that we realized the immense fulfillment and joy it brought us. From that moment on, our perspective shifted. We saw wedding photography not just as a profession but as a gateway to a world of creativity, travel, and meaningful connections.

Is there a particular place where you feel most creative?

For us, Tuscany holds a special place as our "photographic home." The enchanting landscape, with its golden sunlight, rolling hills, and unique colors, creates a captivating backdrop that never fails to inspire us. The timeless beauty and romantic atmosphere of Tuscany infuse our work with a sense of magic and tranquility. Additionally, desert landscapes hold a unique allure for us with their mystical landscapes and otherworldly beauty. The rugged desert terrain, dramatic rock formations, and expansive vistas evoke a sense of awe and wonder that fuels our creativity.

Do your work and approach have changed?

Absolutely yes, our work and approach have evolved over the years, shaped by our experiences, inspirations, and personal growth. As artists, we believe it's essential to continuously evolve and mature in our craft. Each new experience, whether it's traveling to different locations, collaborating with diverse clients, or exploring new techniques, contributes to our artistic development. While our style may have shifted and evolved, we still believe in maintaining a consistent fingerprint in our work. This signature style is a reflection of our unique perspective, vision, and creative voice. It's what makes our photographs instantly recognizable as ours, even as we adapt and grow as artists. Change is inevitable, and we embrace it as an opportunity for growth and exploration. However, amidst this evolution, we strive to preserve the essence of our artistic identity, ensuring that our work remains authentic and true to our vision. Is it difficult to maintain your level of knowledge? What do you do to improve it?

Maintaining and expanding our level of knowledge is indeed a continuous journey that requires dedication and effort. To ensure that we stay informed, inspired, and creatively stimulated, we adopt a multifaceted approach to learning and self-improvement. First and foremost, we immerse ourselves in various forms of art and culture. We watch movies to appreciate different storytelling techniques, visual aesthetics, and narrative structures. Similarly, we listen to a diverse range of music genres to explore different emotions, moods, and artistic expressions. Additionally, we invest in photographic books to deepen our understanding of photography as an art form and to draw inspiration from the works of renowned photographers.
