Photography is a huge part of both my working life and my home life. I take a lot of my inspiration from the colour palette and lighting of cinema, the candidness of street photography, and the emotions portrayed through sincere storytelling, which I aim to interpret through my work.

The reason I became a photographer was quite simple: I’m passionate about people, whether that is learning all about what makes them unique or focusing on how different people connect. Every couple is different when it comes to how they interact with each other, and there is no right or wrong way. I find myself drawn to the expressions and mannerisms that naturally emerge when surrounded by family and friends, so weddings just felt right.

To me, this is a highly personal job, and I am so grateful that after every wedding, I can say that I have not only served my couples but also gained new friends. Wedding photography isn’t just a job; it’s something I am extremely passionate about, and I’m always trying to push myself to create better images and surpass my couples’ needs.

Leave traditions at the door, plan the wedding your way, and let your personality shine through, whether the location is a vineyard in Tuscany, the city streets of London, or even the family home. No matter how big or small, make it your own. Love is worth celebrating.

INTERVIEW

When was the first time that you remember realizing that you are a creative person?

Growing up in a creative household full of music. My Dad was a touring musician and my Mother was an artist. I was surrounded by creativity and I caught the bug.

Does your work convey a specific emotion or message?

I like to convey a slowed-down version of life, something deep and meaningful.

Is there a particular place where you feel most creative?

Surrounded by other creatives is where I flourish.

What do you intend to achieve through your work?

I want people to feel something, whether it is a strong memory, an emotion, a sense, or just something that takes them back to a certain moment in time.

Do you believe art should deliver a message?

Art of any kind needs to be able to tell a story and evoke emotions, this is what true art is.

Is it difficult to maintain your level of knowledge? What do you do to improve it?

Never believe that you are done learning. Whether it be reading a book, listening to music, or studying an artist, you can always learn something new and adapt it into your work and creative output.
