WHO ARE YOU? DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN A FEW WORDS.

I’m Adrián, but all my family and friends call me Adri. A creative person. My style is: elegant, and filled with poetic, artistic, and cinematographic nuances.

WHAT IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE HAS INFLUENCED YOU TO CHOOSE YOUR CAREER?

After 9 years working in clinical laboratories and two years studying artistic photography, I decided to make a living as a wedding photographer with one premise, to tell true stories with the beauty of human connections. I want my stories to reflect honesty and authenticity. I love simplicity, emotions, and the art direction before each story.

WHAT IS YOUR INSPIRATION?

I get a lot of inspiration from the sensations of nature, music, light, and cinema and from people themselves.

Mainly inspired by human connections and reality in front of the camera. My way of working favours introspection which is captured by the camera. It is a very bearable way of working for my clients and each of them enjoys a unique experience.

I attach a lot of importance to the artistic direction beforehand to let everything happen naturally.

I often explore the concept of identity by having people focus on external stimuli; especially music, memories, and environmental components making people reveal emotions in the purest form. I focus on emotions. I like that the image comes from within the subject, yet the image is just the end result. The photo is created by the subject, then it goes out into the atmosphere, where I capture it. It’s astonishing how emotional I become when I’m behind my camera

I create a space where my clients can focus on the human connection, the moment, and the environment. We’re surrounded by a bubble that is created where nothing matters other than their love and memories.

After finishing weddings people describe it as a loving experience that exceeds their expectations.

Is there a particular place where you feel most creative?

It may seem strange, but I love to sit in bed or stand in the middle of the hallway in my house, staring lost in thought. To be inspired by feelings and images that I create in my head.

How would you like to be regarded or remembered?

I want to be remembered by my family and friends as someone who gave them all his love.

Do you believe art should deliver a message?

Art always seeks an expression of ideas, thoughts, criticism, or reflection. In this case, it´s a real search for beauty in human emotions.

Do you believe art is something you were born with or something you have to find in your daily life? and work for?

My father has worked as a lorry driver and has also been an oil painter all his life, he is still painting today. He is a great inspiration for me artistically speaking and for his great dedication.
